I noticed one night that one of the girls was eating with a SPOON. A regular spoon, which made me wonder just how "hungry" these people really were ... were they being fed supplemental food?

Remember on the very first Survivor? They were really STARVING. Not that I want anyone to actually STARVE, but the hardships seem to be getting less and less. And less.

On the first season, they were skinny and practically eaten alive by bugs. This last bunch never mentioned a bug, as far as I know. Of course, I may have dozed off ... zzzzzzzz

Oh, yeah, NO MORE COLTON, NO MORE COLTON, NO MORE COLTON ...

I guess I just like the drama, it's typical and expected. That is why I favor players that add alittle emotion, action and competitiveness. It adds character to the show. It's Survivor, when push comes to shove to win the million, you do what you gotta do to get to the end. "One Wold" it seemed to go by fast because it lacked all the scheming and plotting. Kim had it from the start...she went in with a plan and stuck with it. She is a people person, could get you to listen and follow her. She was a leader and didn't say more than she had too. People who talk too much can get lost in the game. I liked all the players but my favorite was Troyzan. He is a charmer and is a good photographer, has charm and has humor. Colton I liked and hated....he was doing what you do on Survivor...backstab, lie and cheat. I will always watch Survivor, it keeps my blood pumping with emotions.

This season of Survivor was the most boring and predictable. The men and women thing was a big mistake. They did it before and that one stunk also. This was the first season of Survivor that i didnt watch every show. I didnt like any of the cast. Couldnt really get into it to root someone on either. I did like Troyzan and even Tarzan, but they both turned into wimps. Please do not bring Colton back. I felt sorry for his Mother at the reunion show. I despise his actions and makes the gay community look bad. He wasnt a villian - just plain rude.

NO COLTON EVER AGAIN! I've never seen such a rude, nasty, selfish and just plain MEAN person. If "Survivor" wants ratings based on those qualities, I will not be watching...and I'll be sad, because I love the show. I can't tell you how thrilled I was that Colton got 'sick' and had to leave. My personal thought is that he was so far out with his comments and demeanor that the producers thought it best he leave. Whatever the reason, I was so happy I didn't have to listen to his garbage anymore.

I am going to have to disagree with the majority of peope and Jeff. I loved this season...in my opinion, this was the best season since heroes versus villains. Kim was awesome and one of the best players ever, and as far as not having characters. Kat? Tarzan? Troyzan? Colton? I feel like this season had it all. A little predictable, yes, but besides that it was great (IMO)

It was boring after Colton left, he kept it interesting. I didn't expect Colton to be so tough, for being so feminine. I really like Colton, he said it like it is... Kim just coasted right through. She was a great, strong player however, she did it, she figured out the game perfectly...but I wanted Troyzan to win the 100 G ... he deserved it, he was goin along... being a good guy to everyone mostly. The only reason he let the ZAN out was because he was pushed. Everyone ganged up on him. I would of been upset too if people I thought were friendly, suddenly seen me as a threat and treat me like a disease. Kim should not have one it all... but it is what it is as they say. If the guys hadn't been dumped so soon it could of been more interesting. I hope Troyzan, Colton and Tarzan come back. I love Survivor and will always be a loyal viewer.

did u hear that Jordan has moved to california to live with Jeff...that was great news.....and Janelle had a baby girl earlier this year...they are still casting so no word yet on who's gonna be on this summer.....i will be in serveral BB forums so we will just look for each other, lol.....☺......

@Crazy.....i know u never got into BB but maybe u can give it another try this summer if u get bored...cause Rob will have podcasts with BB also...he Loves BB....so hoping to see u in the BB forums....☺.....

I have watched every episode of every season of Survivor and this was the worst cast by FAR. The only people who played were Kim and Colton and for a couple of episodes Troyzan played just a little. The rest of the cast didn't even attempt to play the game. I don't think they even knew how. Mark Burnett needs to find a new casting director, because whoever assembled this group doesn't know their job. I turned off the reunion when they started talking to Colton....he's unwatchable. If they bring him back, I'm done.....will have to remove Survivor from my Tivo.

Why were the girls and colton wearing lipgloss, eyeliner and mascara???????? Survivor or the Islands next Supermodel. Producers take note!!! This means you Jeff!!!! Get back to existing with nothing but what is earned along the way. Couldn't be bothered with this season, bored from the first 5 minutes.

No. Do bring back Colton! He was the only other strong player in this season, along with Kim. Yes he behaved like a bully, but he was that survivor you could really cheer against, same with Alicia. These people aren't anywhere near as odious in real life. Alicia turned out to be a decent sort in the end and Colton's a guy who plays to win. He's not all bad. He's got a humble side too, but he plays hard. He wouldn't have let Kim run the game. Less passive players also would stand up to him or conspire to oust him. He had things easy.
The only problem with One World IMO was a weak cast. Otherwise it was fine. Even the ending wasn't that bad, even if it ultimately did play out rather predictably. What this season needed was someone to challenge Kim, either from her own crew or from the misfits, but none of the players had the mental make-up to make a move. By the time Troyzan found his legs, he couldn't muster the sheeple numbers he needed. This thing it seems really was over once Jay was bounced.

To a degree, I agree with the comments on Colton. He never would have won this Survivor or any other. I rarely watched Survivor after Troyzan was kicked off. Nevertheless, the casting was terrible. The guys were incredibly stupid and the girls were puppets. I heard that Christina somehow got to the final four and just gave up and was reprimanded for it. Really? What did that say about all the other contestants that went before her. Like I said, stupid men and stupid women with no sense. Hopefully, next season they will correct it.

It was boring and too predictable. There was often some hints and talk about some "big move" they needed to make but they never did. Too many participants simply want to play safe, and blend into the crowd and kind of quietly make it to the final three. Need something in the rules or process that can shake this boring mentaility up. Maybe they shoudl reward the million to the third place voter getter.

This season never seemed to show where the group was actually getting food except for all the excessive food reward challenges. So what, they just eat rice for 39 days and hope that will be enough. We need more creativity and filming on how they secure food and not chasing a pig for 30 seconds.

Oh, my gosh, HoH8, I forgot you were the BB lover here in Fandom. I have followed your comments there, too! July, what, 13th?? Not that much longer. I hope they have a really fun group cast this year - but, pleassssseeee, no more cry babies like Rachael and wussy-boys like Brendon!!! Good grief, those two wore me out! But I've got to give them credit for coming in third in TAR - despite her whining and crying, Rachael is one tough cookie!!!! I vote we all put this season of Survivor behind us, enjoy BB 14 and plan to really enjoy the 25th season of Survivor in the fall !!!!!

Oh, apple pie, I've been worried about you!!! I haven't seen you post in, well, forever!!!! So glad to hear from you and, really, apple pie, I'm glad this season is over. Very hard season for a real die-hard Survivor lover!! Next season we get some re-tread players - people who were originally medi-vaced, which really could be interesting. I'm glad Sabrina got $100,000 - wish it could have been the million bucks. Just glad you are back, my friend!!!

Season 25 just finished filming. Judging by Colton's increased size at the finale, there is no way he made it past episode 2(if he was invited back, which he wasn't)
